This painting is inspired in a real moment. There are only two of my paintings that are inspired in a moment which I lived. In Girona, Cataluña. The restaurant was called Mon Oncle.
This painting was made from a restaurant that have had a big impact in my life. As very important things happened there. This image of the musicians was a moment that I experienced in 2019 and that made me feel a lot.
This people where all very different from each other and they were playing music in the middle of the restaurant with much grace. Having a bit of wine, some nice food and playing for everyone around us and for themselves. This day I wanted to capture the importance of music, of art, of expression and of freedom.
