About the Artwork:
This painting was a channeling. Before painting it, I had many manifestations of stars. They appeared to me everywhere. Stars are magic, and they remind us of who we are. Shining with all our light, creativity, passion, and zest for life and being who we truly are is becoming this star. From the star, two rivers appear, representing the double abundance that flows and makes the plants and flowers grow around it. It makes everything in our lives grow and flourish. The spiral channel at the top is the information that comes down from the sky and connects us to the earth through our first chakra.
The stars shine,
In the dark night.
The stars shine,
Simply in its existence.
To shine is to let the light flow from the inside out,
From the outside in. Like a fluid channel in motion.
The light comes from our essence,
Of our authenticity,
From our expression,
Of the joy of doing what our soul asks.
To be a star,
It is to exist in honesty.
It is remembering where we come from.
It is remembering what we are and what we always were.
(Actually, we are stardust. Our chemical composition is the same as that of a star. We come from the universe and are completely connected to it. We are the stars we observe at night.)
